Decugnano Barbi-a.d.1212 2020 Umbria rosso IGT

The best vineyards on the estate contribute to the creation of this wine. A meticulous vinification, a partial refinement in French oak barriques and a particularly careful assembly return an aristocratic, harmonious and elegant wine that best expresses the Decugnano terroir.

Variety: Syrah 65%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Montepulciano 15%

Vinification: Aging for 12 months in barrique.

Ruby red in color, it reveals hints of red fruits and spices to the nose, with a marked note of black pepper typical of Syrah. On the palate it is rich in intense black fruits, the tannins are soft but structured, supported by a good level of acidity and well-integrated alcohol. Intense and savory, a wine of great elegance.
