Bigi – Vigneto Torricella 2023 orvieto classico doc

Vigneto Torricella is one of the best expressions of Orvieto which was born with the 1980 vintage from the vineyard of the same name dominating Lake Corbara, suited for the happy combination of the microclimate and the nature of the soil. An Orvieto of particular substance and weight that is confirmed in every harvest as one of the best whites of Central Italy.

Varieties: Trebbiano Toscano, Grechetto, Verdello, Malvasia Toscana, Drupeggio.

Complex and intense wine, it is presented in the glass with a straw yellow color tending to light golden. On the nose it manifests itself with initial vegetal notes, fresh grass, moss, dried fruit followed by a marked minerality coming from the tuff, which comes to hints of flint softened by honey, grapefruit and peach.

A wine of structure and charm to combine with a risotto with nettle or mushrooms and tasty fish dishes.
