Made from Sangiovese and Sagrantino grapes, with an intense ruby red colour, the nose expresses the characteristics of the terroir of the Montefalco area.
It is a mix of balsamic tones and fruity notes, ranging from cherries to currants, through blackberries and plums.
The flavor further enlivens the tasting, although already fruity and balsamic.
It refines in large oak barrels for at least 12 months before bottling.
It goes well with particularly tasty dishes and mature cheeses.
