A modern Umbria that maintains its roots with Grechetto but looks to the future with the contribution of Riesling.
The name derives from the Marchioness, wife of Orazio Spada, who in 1600 created the Opera Pia for the poor of the town, each poor person received as a dowry 216 sheep, 22 goats and 2 gilts. Who have the task of raising the animals, using the breeding products as they wish and returning the flock after 5 years. The principality quickly became a thriving cultural and economic center, never seen before at the time.
Orange flowers and tropical fruit rise in the glass, together with a classic mineral backbone of volcanic soils.
